Hi All,
I can highly recommend Bombadill, which is a Chiringuito on Isla Canela beach. It is packed to the gunnels with the locals at the weekend but we have found that if you wait until late afternoon you can always get served.

La Sonrisa at Punta del Moral end does live music on wednesdays, Dj sessions every saturday at 17:00 till midnight, Sunday BBQ night with live music, Sometimes flamenco. Reservations for the BBQ are neccesarry, Call Bart on (0034) 650013604. Good food & English, Dutch, German Spoken. Many locals go there. It is behind the Isla Canela Ventas (Sales) office on the beach.

avoid the one far left hand end of Playa Canela - we found it expensive and poor service.
We paid 6 euros for a portion of chips - when we queried the bill we were simply told that they were very good quality potatoes!
Disgraceful. |
