Hi,

I'm currently looking at a couple of vendors for furnishing and managing my townhouse in Costa Esuri. I'm looking at Absolute and Conforta. Does anyone have any views on either of this companies? Or can you recommend anyone else?

I'm not in the position to travel to Spain for a few months so I'm looking to source someone reliable.

I am also thinking of using Remax via Conforta to rent the property, does anyone have any experience of this or any other rental companies?

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks
Elaine

Hi Elaine,

I used Absolute to furnish my townhouse and they did a superb job against a tight timeline. Martin and Tom could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I now use them as my management company and Debbie continues to maintain the Absolute tradition for good service.

Thanks everyone,

Do you know if there is enough room in the bedrooms of a 2 bed townhouse for wardrobes and chest of drawers? Any of the quotes we've had for furniture don't seem to include these items.

All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes don't they? Ours do! From photos I've seen the internal layouts of rooms do seem to vary slightly - our 3-bed has room for a "console" type dressing table and mirror above in the bedrooms, but we found we don't need a chest of drawers as the wardrobes have drawers in them.

Hope this helps.

Hi Elaine,

My parents have had nothing but problems with Conforta at Costa Esuri- so I would probably not use them.

I don't know which model your house is, but my townhouse (3 bedroom tower house) has fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms.

I got all my beds from IKEA. I got it all delivered by DonCampo. You can give them a list, and they will buy it and deliver it to your house. They can also assemble the items for you. I found this option cheaper, plus I could get to sit on the sofas and lie in the beds (at my local IKEA branch in the UK) before purchase.

My mum has recently purchased some furniture from Egg in Nest for her flat on the beach, and she has found their service good and reasonably priced.

Good luck

Hi Elaine
we are currently looking at furnishing and have come across villapac. They have showrooms in the UK as well as in Spain so you can actually see what you are buying. Very freindly staff. They do however have a minimum order f £5000. You can find them at www.villapac.co.uk

Hi Elaine,

We have used Conforta to manage our property and so far we are delighted with their service. They (Amparo & Sylvia have been very helpful). I felt it was good to use their services as they are on site and are trustworthy.

We completed our property at the end of July last.

Good luck!

Hi Elaine
We used Villapac. They have a showroom in Milton Keynes so you can actually see what you are buying first hand. You buy it and they install everything for you.
Fairly reliable
Management agents - we use purple parrot group based in Ayamonte.

Absolute have only closed the Furniture shop. They are still operating out of the Property Management office near Laguna Square

They have a Show apartment at Cabanas.

I used them for my Furniture and fit out and have been totally satisfied. They also look after my property and have been excellent
