Hello Manzana 2 neighbours,

We understand that ADA are collecting quotes for some large sliding gates to replace the current barriers at the entrances of the Manzanas. These gates will have to be voted on by the presidents of the manzanas soon.

Apart from the large costs of both installation and the ongoing maintenance of these gates, they will be of no benefit whatsoever to the houses facing the extremities of the townhouses, ie all the houses entered from the streets. These houses will have to pay for the gates as well, however unfair this seems.

Do any of the residents in manzana 2 have any thoughts on this matter? I am aware that you recently had a community meeting, what did you decide on these gates?
We are yet to have a meeting in manzana 1.

Looking forward to feedback,

Sunnuva
Manzana 1

Hi Sunnuva,

I was at the meeting of Manzana 2 residents and this was not on the Agenda.

Maybe something for next time?

Tony

Hi guys,

That is a surprise. These gates are probably going to be voted on by the presidents in April, and if agreed (as it will most likely be) you will all have to pay for both the installation and the maintenance of it.

It is actually not acceptable for these gates not to have been voted on at your recent meeting. Considering that your manzana is the largest (I think), it is of significance how you vote, for the whole of Lomas de Esuri. And the president should not be able to vote on something this significant without putting it to your votes at the last meeting. The next meeting is too far away.

We will most certainly be discussing this at our meeting (M1)in end March. Have you asked your president about this? Does he respond to your emails (our president have not so far!).

Sunnuva
